Conference on project management and business analysis – Project Management & Analysis Summit – PAM Summit will be held in the first half of June 2013 in Krakow. The conference is organized by PMI Krakow and IIBA.

The conference program is built around three major areas:

  • Business Analysis,
  • Project management (in particular the ‘agile methodologies’),
  • Human interaction management.

Worth mentioning are keynote speakers: Arie van Bennekum from the Netherlands, who will talk about engaging the customer in projects conducted according to agile methodologies (I expect that I will get an answer to the question – how to use agile in commercial projects – with external customer); and James Archer from the UK, whose subject of the talk will be the challenges of leadership in project management. Speakers list is getting longer all the time, and the details are to be found on the conference website.

PAM Summit will be held in Krakow, in ‘Stara zajezdnia’ – a conference site created in the old tram switching station situated in the heart of Kazimierz (a historical district of Krakow; best known for being home to a significant Jewish community from the 14th century). The organizers planned also an additional interaction with the speakers and other participants of the conference,  a unique ‘barrels’ in which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with the speakers after their presentations.

Of course, for readers of my blog;) added attraction will be a chance to meet with me, as I have a small contribution to the organization of this conference. So, see you in Krakow. Details of registration (please rush, tickets sell like hot cakes) can be found at www.pamsummit.com.
