I have a couple of responses to the new guidance - P3O - I've been blogging about each P3O chapter if people want a further insight before they buy:
http://projectcentric.co.uk/how_to_manage_a_camel/project_management/p3o/

I also volunteer for the PPSOSIG - which is the Programme and Project Support Office Specialist Interest Group - a mouthful I know! The PPSOSIG is dedicated to this field and we're looking forward to our next conference where we will be examining the P3O guidance a little closer. For anyone who is currently working within this field - http://www.ppsosig.co.uk for more details. The events attract a lot of PMO professionals so its great for networking ( and being a little nosey about what other organisations are doing in the PMO area)
